M&E TECHNICIAN JOB SUMMARY Utilizes advanced skills to perform complex preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, equipment and grounds. Working under limited supervision, monitor building system operations and performance. Utilizes several trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating and cooling. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES -Complies with all applicable codes, regulations, and company directives related to building operations and work safety -Contracted work includes landscaping, HVAC, lightings, plumbing and cleaning -Conduct inspection to ensure proper functioning facilities, assess and evaluate the physical space requirements of the client -Completes maintenance and repair record as required -Reviews assigned work orders. Estimates time and materials needed to complete repair -Maintains the building lighting system including element and ballast repairs or replacement -Responds quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed -Performs other duties as assigned JOB REQUIREMENT -Able to work under pressure -Able to work independently with minimum supervision -Able to work outstation -Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques -Able to perform shift work -Possess own transport -Able to start work immediate or short notice will be an advantage
