TECHNICIAN - QUALITY, RELIABILITY & ENGINEERING (QRE)

JOB PRINCIPLE

Responsible for ensuring the quality, accuracy, and reliability of replacement moulds, in-house tooling fabrication, and machining jig components through precise inspections, CMM programming support, and close collaboration with engineers for issue resolution. Upholds stringent product quality and process reliability standards while contributing to departmental objectives in tooling development and mould replacement projects. Ensures compliance with internal and external quality requirements to minimize risks and drive operational excellence.

JOB SCOPE

Quality & Reliability: Validate tooling, components and equipments and equipment to meet design specifications and performance requirements.

Continuous Improvement: Support process improvements to enhance reliability, reduce downtime and improve efficiency.

New Product Introduction (NPI): Assist in first-article inspection (FAI) and smooth integration of new tools into production if required.

Compliance: Ensure adherence to FAI reports, SPC reports, Tooling Inspection reports and Component/Jig/Fixture/Gauge Inspection Reports. Maintain compliance with QMS, EMS, OHSAS and legal requirements.

Risk Mitigation: Support root cause analysis, risk evaluation and corrective actions to prevent quality failures.

Collaboration: Assist engineers in coordinating and communicating with suppliers, internal departments and external stakeholders. Ensure that all parties are aligned on quality, performance and manufacturability standards for tooling, components and production processes.

JOB ALLOWANCE & BENEFITS

Monthly Attendance Allowance - RM 100.00 Daily Shift Allowance - RM 2.80 (day), RM 5.50 (night) Daily Shift Allowance, if OT - RM 3.50 (day), RM 7.00 (night) OT Allowance - based on standard rate of Employment Act 1955 Daily Meal Allowance - RM 4.00 (if OT above 2 hours) Daily Meal Allowance - RM 8.00 (if OT above 4 hours) Daily Laundry Allowance - RM 1.00 Daily Food Subsidy - RM 3.50 (claimable at our canteen) Medical coverage as per entitlement including spouse & dependent (Clinic, Hospitalization & Dental) Uniform & PPE will be provided every year

Pay: RM1,900.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
