Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Site Installation & Support

Assist in monitoring installation of solar PV System (mounting, cabling, inverter setup) Assist engineer to coordinate with subcontractors and internal teams for material and work readiness. Site inspection post installation.

2. Technical

Conduct testing and commissioning activities for Solar PV Residential & C&I Assist engineers in site measurements, layout marking, and equipment verification. Conduct the troubleshooting & minor rectification work.

3. Documentation & QA/QC

Perform post-installation inspections (mounting alignment, cable routing, etc.) Maintain accuracy of records, site photos, work orders, test reports, material checklist, and other administrative documents related to the Project division. To be involved in quality control inspections to verify adherence to standards and specifications and ensure technical proposals comply with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards. Where necessary, liaise with government authorities such as the Energy Commission (ST), Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB), SEDA, CIDB, and Visiting Electrical Consultants on all matters related to solar PV systems.

4. Others

a. Ad hoc projects when required by management.

JOB COMPETENCIES REQUIREMENT

Wireman/Chargeman/Diploma Certificate (Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy) or a related field . PW4 Certification or Chargeman AO is an added advantage. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams and educate customers on system operations. Experience in Solar PV system installation, including wiring, is an added advantage. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, layouts, and single-line diagrams. Skilled in the use of hand and power tools, as well as cable termination and mounting work. Meticulous with strong troubleshooting abilities. Possesses critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve project-related issues. Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and willing to travel as required. Passionate about energy efficiency and renewable energy solutions and eager to learn about the industry. Effective in working within cross-functional team environments. Self-motivated, resourceful, and proactive in finding solutions and achieving company goals.

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
