Technician - Sample Management Services

Job Purpose

To carry out daily sample management activities including sample collection, handling, labelling, transportation, and documentation in a safe, efficient, and compliant manner following company procedures, ISO standards, and HSSE requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Perform daily collection, receipt, labelling, and delivery of product and process samples. Handle and manage sample containers, tools, and waste disposal according to procedures. Support laboratory staff in sample tracking, registration, and data entry. Ensure samples are handled, stored, and transported safely and in compliance with quality and HSSE requirements. Maintain cleanliness and readiness of sample collection equipment and work areas. Assist in stock management of bottles, cylinders, and consumables. Participate in safety programs, toolbox meetings, and incident reporting. Comply with all safety, security, and quality policies during operations.

Qualifications & Experience

Diploma in Science, Engineering, or related field (SPM holders with experience considered). Minimum 1-2 years' experience in laboratory or Oil & Gas operations. Familiar with GLP, ISO Management System, and sample documentation procedures. Basic SAP and MS Office knowledge. Valid Class D driving license.

Skills & Competencies

Strong safety awareness and operational discipline. Good teamwork and communication skills. Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures. Physically fit for field and laboratory activities.

Working Hours

Rotational Shift:

Day Shift: 7:30 am - 7:30 pm Night Shift: 7:30 pm - 7:30 am (Standby basis on weekends & public holidays)
