Job Description

• Responsible for supporting the quality assurance efforts of our software development projects (Mobile App and Cloud Application).
• Primary role will involve executing tests, documenting results, identifying software defects, and collaborating with the QA team to ensure high-quality software deliverables.
• Execute test cases and test scripts to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Collaborate with the development team to identify, document, and track software defects, ensuring accurate and thorough bug reporting.
• Assist in creating and maintaining test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Set up and configure test environments, ensuring they accurately replicate customer configurations and scenarios.
• Review requirements and specifications to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Prepare test data and test environments to support test execution.
• Monitor and report on the progress and status of test execution, ensuring adherence to timelines.
• Participate in regression testing activities to verify the impact of code changes on existing functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and project managers, to understand requirements, address issues, and contribute to successful project delivery.
• Actively contribute to process improvement initiatives, suggesting enhancements to testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.

Job Requirement

• Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and document test results and issues.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and support team objectives.
• Willingness to learn new technologies, tools, and processes.
• Demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality software and adhere to quality standards.
• Basic organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Display a genuine interest in software quality assurance and a willingness to expand knowledge and skills in the field.
• Any relevant certifications in software testing or quality assurance would be a plus but are not required.
