Job summary

The Splicing Technician is responsible for installing, splicing, testing, and maintaining fiber optic cables to ensure reliable and high-quality network connectivity. This role involves on-site work, troubleshooting, and completing documentation while following safety and quality standards.

Requirements:

Minimum SPM / Certificate / Diploma in Telecommunications, Electrical, or related field.

Prefer have 1 year working experience in related field.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Able to work on-site, outdoors, and at height if required

Possess good discipline, responsibility, and teamwork

Valid car driving license is an advantage

Physically fit and able to work on-site.

Job Responsibilities:

Install and repair fiber optic cables for telecom networks

Prepare and submit reports and documentation

Ensure work is carried out in accordance with safety standards and quality procedures

Support site activities, including outdoor and indoor work, and standby when required

Coordinate with supervisor and site teams to complete tasks on time

Report to the Supervisor on work progress and issues.

Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

Jelutong: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
