Responsibilities: Reporting directly to the Engineer, Supplier Quality. The Technician, Supplier Quality is integral in controlling the inspection of incoming materials to support Insulet\xe2\x80\x99s development and manufacturing areas. Must be able to deal with changing priorities. Will inspect incoming materials/components to Insulet quality documentation. \xe2\x80\xa2 Mechanical inspection of incoming components and materials. \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintain and file inspection records and reports. \xe2\x80\xa2 Data input into the Insulet computer system. \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist Quality Engineers in development of test methods. \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist Quality Engineers in handling NCMR/SCAR \xe2\x80\xa2 Participate in internal or external quality audits, as required. \xe2\x80\xa2 Monitor calibration contractors while testing equipment at Insulet. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience with ISO inspections documentation & standards. \xe2\x80\xa2 May provide guidance to other inspection staff. \xe2\x80\xa2 Performs other duties as required. Requirements \xe2\x80\xa2 Minimum high school education preferably in science or engineering discipline. \xe2\x80\xa2 At least 3 years as a mechanical inspector in a testing environment and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. \xe2\x80\xa2 Effective verbal and written communication skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to communicate at multiple levels of an organization. \xe2\x80\xa2 Knowledge of basic shop math is essential. \xe2\x80\xa2 PC skill, word processing, spreadsheet, database. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to organize and judge priorities. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to generate and maintain accurate records.
