Job Description

Position Summary:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a variety of routine and emergency maintenance tasks to ensure the hotel's equipment, guest rooms and facilities remain in excellent working condition. The role requires hands-on technical skills in electrical, plumbing, HVAC and general repair.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect and repair guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities. Perform routine preventive maintenance checks on air conditioning, electrical systems, lighting, and plumbing fixtures. Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently. Assist with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hotel equipment. Maintain accurate maintenance records and report major repair needs to the supervisor. Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area. Assist in emergency situations (e.g., power failures, water leaks). Work with other departments (e.g., housekeeping, front desk) to ensure guest satisfaction.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting Technical knowledge in electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC and general repairs Basic knowledge of tools, equipment and safety procedures Ability to work independently and troubleshoot problems efficiently Physically fit; able to lift, climb, bend and stand for extended periods Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and on-call as required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,300.00 per month
