• Equipment/Process transfer and buyoff for new hardware or process on media testers.
• Qualify & release and new media test equipment propagation into manufacturing.
• Continue to monitor and analyze all test related issues for new equipment.
• Procedure and methodology documentation
• Review project transfers from US and provide assessment feedback, schematics review, hardware modification suggestions and improvements.
• Develop new engineering solution (Equipment and Process) for defect detection improvement on media testers.
• Provide solution to common cause issues on testers and find permanent solution to resolve those issues.
• Ensure test measurement accuracy and repeatability.
• Media test optimization for defect detection optimization.
• Media quality improvement to avoid post-test failure and test escapee for new equipment qualification to HDD.
• Monitor, sustain & improve equipment performance (Quality & PPH), OEE and spare parts.
• Equipment upgrades and project management, including vendor communication and coordination with finance/facility/logistics/etc.
• Investigate and resolve sporadic issues affecting quality.
• Interlock with other departments and across sites to support activities.
• Carry out 8D and FMEA meetings.
• Team technical training and guidance on resolving equipment issues.

Project management and resource planning for Projects, PM and maintenance activities.

Qualifications

Educational Required:

• Bachelor of Science in the field of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Candidates with postgraduate education is preference.

• Leadership skill
• Excellent Electric and Electronics knowledge
• Problem solving skill
• Communication and Time management
• Test and measurement tools knowledge

Experience:

• Project management
• PCBA and schematics knowledge
