Role Summary

We are looking for Technical Support Engineers (L1/L2) to support enterprise customers in backup, recovery, and data management platforms. The role involves advanced troubleshooting, remote support, and managing backup infrastructures to ensure systems remain reliable and resilient.

Key Responsibilities

Troubleshoot customer issues for backup & recovery products (remote/on-site).

Resolve software, hardware, network, and application issues using remote tools.

Monitor backup operations, disaster recovery plans, and storage capacity.

Document technical procedures, cases, and solutions.

Perform root cause analysis and escalate product defects.

Contribute to lab simulations and product beta testing.

Provide support through phone, email, and online platforms.

Collaborate with engineering teams for complex resolutions.

Stay updated on product changes and emerging backup technologies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in IT/Computer Science OR equivalent experience.

3-5 years in technical/customer support, ideally in enterprise backup environments.

Experience with tools like Veritas, Veeam, NetBackup, Avamar (added advantage).

Strong troubleshooting skills in Windows Server, Linux, VMware/Hyper-V, and networking.

Hands-on experience in implementing and monitoring backup solutions.

Excellent communication in English + Chinese OR English + Japanese.
