We are looking for a Telecom Software Customer Support Consultant / Engineer you will provide technical product support on CTG OSS products to Worldwide customers, HPE delivery teamsand resellers, system integrators via incoming customer contact to HPE Customer Solutions Centers that focus on solutions for OSS Assurance software products. You will focus on achieving industry leading customer satisfaction and loyalty through delivery of high level technical consulting to our customers (hardware or software issues). What you will be doing: You will be part of a CTG Worldwide Customer Experience and Support organization You will work in the Product support team that provides support to HPE CTG OSS Products and Solutions internal and external customers by: Taking ownership and accountability in managing cases and customer situations using trouble tracking tools like SFDC. Troubleshooting & resolving the incidents and problem tickets within SLA/SLO. Working on complex problems / projects, performing troubleshooting and diagnosis of complex issues in the HPE Operations Support Systems [OSS] Assurance Products (such as HPE vTeMIP, UCA, UOC, UMB, USLAM, INT-A, AA, etc. more information can be found under these links: , and ) Supporting the root cause analysis process, and ensuring remediation of major issues, development, testing and delivery of workaround and fixes. Partnering with HPE Product Development and Product / Solution Implementation teams in providing a fast and verified solution back to the customer. Working with other Product support team members and Product development for HPE product supportability improvements, Product innovation and SaaS readiness About you: You have Software solutions delivery, operations and maintenance, Enterprise software product support or R&D background, preferably with experience in the OSS Assurance, Fulfilment or Orchestration Products You have UNIX (Linux, Solaris, HP-UX, AIX, etc.) and Kubernetes-based systems experience, SQL and no-SQL (Oracle, EDB, Impala, Neo4j etc.), Java, C/C++, other development languages skills, log analysis and troubleshooting knowledge, enterprise product support, IT systems administration, deployment or integration experience. You are familiar with DevOps, Agile SW development and implementation methodology and tools (like Jenkins, GitHub, etc. ) You have Software, Computer Systems, or Telecommunications related or similar educational background, or working experience, and B.Sc. or higher degree and at least 5+ years on-job experience You are problem solver, eager to lean new technologies and solutions, have ability to comprehend complex systems, have passion for innovate-on-the-job. You are self-motivated and self-organized, problem solver and a quick learner, You have good written and verbal communication (in English), customer interaction skills, and have strong teamwork mindset and are motivated to help / guide others.
