Position Summary

Managing and administering the activities associated with the occupational health.

A day in the life of a Temporary Occupational Health Executive

• Primary Nursing Care:

• Emergency Treatment.
• Pre-employment screening.
• Treatment of simple wounds & ailments.
• Health monitoring- B/P, blood, sugar, blood cholesterol
• Taking specimens for investigations & tracing results.
• Counselling.
• Clinic Administration:

• Planning and organizing an efficient & effective administration of the clinic.
• Assist visiting doctor.
• Issuing of GL, organising referral/ESP appointments, liaising with other hospitals/pharmacies.
• Liaise with hospitals /Clinics -certify medical bills/medical leave.
• Monthly reports /statistics (recording & up keeping).
• Ordering of drugs /inventory.
• Keep records of medicines/prescriptions by visiting MO.
• Checking and recording of all MCs received and clinic visits.
• Implementation /control of panel clinics (if necessary).
• Hospital visits.
• Verification of bills received for reimbursement/payment.
• Safety Surveillance / Supervision:

• Responsible for preparing and following up on industrial accidents reports. Initiate CI activities to identify causes of accidents and provide action plans to avoid future similar accidents.
• Report health /injury hazards.
• Encouraging safe practices/awareness in the factory.
• Health Surveillance & Supervision:

• Routine eudiometry test /typhoid.
• Organize health talks /1st aid training/blood donation.
• Create healthy awareness.
• Create cleanliness awareness.
• Identify health & injury hazards.
• Recording & keeping of industrial accidents.
• Initiate SOCSO application.
• Annual Audiometry and typhoid vaccination.for Nestle Employees.
• Other Activities:

• Monthly statistics/medical reports.
• Canteen Committee.
• Wellness Champion.

What will make you successful

• At least 2 years of experience as a practicing nurse or any other relevant experience.
• Registered nurse with Ministry of Health of Malaysia (Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia).
• Basic command in MS Office.
• Passionate with human engagement.
