Primary Responsibilities



With supervision by Catalog and WFH Territory Manager, assign Catalog Content and Work For Hire projects to local freelancers or vendors. Follow through projects and ensure they are finished as scheduled and according to the highest possible technical/linguistic standards. Relate promptly linguistic and quality issues (vs time, client or general process constraints) to Catalog and WFH Territory Manager. Monitor and keep up-to-date with trends in region related to shifts in technology, creative or technical specifications. Conform, proofread and perform other linguistic tasks in subtitling software. Support the Catalog and WFH Territory Manager with rolling out Machine Translation on Catalog product. Other tasks as assigned.

Requirements



Background in language translation or subtitling Planning and scheduling skills Must be comfortable with working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Excellent use of Microsoft Office applications Excellent problem-solving skills and positive attitude when dealing with emergencies. Experience with professional subtitling software, e.g. EZTitles, is a big plus Excellent communication and negotiation skills Must be organized and highly adaptable. * Good document and information management skills
