Job Description

We are hiring for a Test Automation Engineer based in Selangor, Malaysia who will be responsible for the creation, maintenance and execution of automated and manual test artefacts to ensure high quality of TrustQuay\'s software products. Primary Responsibilities: Drive the development of automated tests to protect TrustQuay products against regression Integrate test automation suites into CICD processes to provide continuous protection Identify gaps in test automation coverage needed to assure software quality in terms of functionality, security, performance and usability Liaise with key product stakeholders (both internal and external) to define acceptance criteria for test automation Assist in the clear reporting of software quality levels and progress Assist in the triage, diagnosis and prioritisation of the quality backlog Assist in the ongoing improvement and refinement of the QA strategy Assist in the continuous improvement of test tooling across all QA disciplines The ideal candidate will have the following experience: Possess at least a bachelor\'s degree, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent 3+ years\' experience in Quality Assurance of commercial B2B software products Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, C#, VB.NET or similar Demonstrate a thorough understanding of Quality Assurance methods and processes Exercise informed judgement for prioritisation of test activities Experience of implementing automated testing and strong understanding of CICD environments, tooling and practices Understanding of testing techniques for APIs and RESTful services The following experience would be beneficial: Knowledge in automated testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Specflow, Gherkin/Cucumber, Karma etc Solid understanding of the Software as a Service (SaaS) model/Cloud technologies in the online environment Understanding of integration of test automation artefacts into a CI/CD pipeline using scripting languages such as Python Understanding of BDD, DDD and TDD development methodologies Experience in the evaluation and execution of risk-based testing approachesoals
