Job Summary

As a Production Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and mechanical assemblies at the component and unit level. You'll use test equipment (such as oscilloscopes, DMM, short locator, etc) and technical documentation (schematics, layout diagrams) to find root causes of failures, implement fixes process, and support quality and production teams.

Key Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic testing on printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) and mechanical/electrical modules to identify defects. Use test procedures, technical notes, and schematics to isolate root cause of failures. Document test results, debug steps, failure modes, and root-cause analysis. Repair PCBAs by reworking or replacing faulty components (soldering/desoldering, rework). Support the creation and continuous improvement of debug/test processes, work instructions, and test guides. Collaborate with product engineers, test engineers, quality teams, planning and production to escalate issues, recommend corrective actions and process improvements.

For This Role, You Will Need:

Diploma or Certificate in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or related field. Minimum 1-3 years of experience in electronics debugging, testing, or repair. Strong understanding of analog and digital circuits. Ability to read and interpret circuit schematics and test data. Familiarity with test and measurement instruments. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Basic computer skills (MS Office, data logging systems). Willingness to work in shifts.
