Job Description

A test and debug technician is a professional responsible for testing, diagnosing, and repairing electronic or mechanical products to ensure they meet quality and performance standards. This role involves using electronic test tools, troubleshooting complex equipment at a component level, and working with engineering to improve procedures and yields. Key responsibilities

Testing:

Conduct functional testing and evaluations of new and existing electronic systems, software, or mechanical products.

Diagnosis and repair:

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical assemblies and equipment, often at the component level.

Data and quality assurance:

Ensure products comply with performance and quality standards and monitor equipment yields.

Collaboration:

Work with engineering, development, and production teams to resolve issues and improve processes.

Documentation:

Assist in creating and maintaining work instructions, equipment documentation, and troubleshooting guides.

Technical support:

Provide support for the development of new test procedures and fixtures.

Setup and validation:

Assist with the installation, debugging, and validation of process equipment and new model setups.
Required skills and qualifications

Ability to read and interpret technical documents like schematics and PCB layouts. Proficiency with electronic test tools such as oscilloscopes. Experience with troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment. Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively with different teams. Understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
