Job Description

With the growth in the video surveillance market and WD's Purple line, new tests and methodologies are required to validate compatibility and test the innovative firmware features required to service this market.

This position requires the individual to :

• Take full responsibility for the test script to test WD's Purple product firmware, including developing new tests, debugging existing tests, and working on any test-related issues.
• As a team member you will interface with and be supported by local and US based engineers in Firmware, Validation and Applications to quickly become a subject-matter expert in one or more areas.
• Qualifications
• BS/Master in Computer Science, Computer/Electronics Engineering or equivalent required.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong programming in C, Linux, Python, Java
• Fast learner. (firmware, systems, tools & tests)

• Strong debugging skills (Software and Hardware).
• Ability to effectively manage projects and tasks to deliver deadlines and commitments.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English. Technical writing skill is an advantage
• Be able to work under pressure for quick resolution and delivery.
• Able to work in a team or independently.

• Knowledge/experience with storage device protocol (SATA, SAS, USB & PCIE) is a plus.
• Knowledge/experience with Storage management, Linux environment, Window Server, network troubleshooting is a plus.
• Experience in the use of bus analyzers, emulators and other firmware debugging tools is a plus.
