Job Description

We are seeking a Test Engineer to play a key role in setting up, coordinating and optimizing the production processes of new energy storage manufacturing plant. The Test Engineer will be responsible for ensuring Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) product quality, performance validation and reliability testing of our energy storage products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:-

Plan, execute and monitor functional and performance tests for battery modules, packs and clusters according to engineering and safety standards. Develop and implement test procedures, parameters and validate protocols for new and existing products. Perform charge and discharge, capacity, thermal, safety and aging tests using automated testing systems integrated with MES. Analyze MES data to identify production trends, yield rates and recurring test failures. Operate and maintain battery cyclers, power analyzers, thermal chambers and test benches. Ensure proper test setup configuration, including wiring, sensors, communication interfaces and instrumentation calibration. Collaborate with Technical, Quality and Production teams to identify root causes of test failures and propose corrective and preventive actions. Analyze and interpret test data, performance trends, and failure modes. Prepare comprehensive test reports. Participate in the continuous improvement of testing processes, automation and data traceability systems. Support energy integration tests.

QUALIFICATION:-

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical or it's related. 2-5 years of relevant experience in product testing, validation or quality assurance within battery, energy or electronics manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of lithium-ion battery system, MES and power electronics. Hands-on experience with battery testers, data loggers, communication protocols and test automation tools. Good knowledge of test safety procedure and high voltage handling. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret test data and identify trends and abnormalities. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Data Analysis Tools and report documentation. Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail, communication and problem solving skills. Fresh graduates with strong internship/academic background are encouraged to apply.
