Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we\xe2\x80\x99re looking to add a Test Engineer located in Bukit Minyak, Penang.

Reporting to the Manager, the Test Engineer will be in charge taking care Test Equipment, support production output, coordinate Technician and Shift coverage and work with customer for Test Capacity / Tester spare part plus Technical Test solutions in manufacturing.

Here is a glimpse of what you\'ll do:

Functional Test Engineer

• Conduct and lead system level functional testing activities and analyze parametric test data to determine product performance and conformance level.
• Develop in-depth skillset in product functionalities understanding, knowledge in individual high-level-assembly, knowledge in interactions between high-level-assembly in system, knowledge in various relevant technical aspect such as software bug list and latest product behavior, knowledge on histories of each product development challenges, to facilitate system level testing and test data analysis.
• Develop strategy, train, instruct and retain technician\xe2\x80\x99s skillset to facilitate system level testing and test data analysis.
• Maintain and trouble-shoot system level testing equipment and spare parts to facilitate system level testing.
• Interfaces with customer and internal team members to resolve technical and engineering challenges to meet production Key Performance Indicators.
• Resolves test yield problems by performing analysis of root causes, developing and coordinating corrective action measures and monitoring improvements.
• Maintain testing operation documentation in accordance with ISO 9001 standard.
• Maintain testing operation safety in accordance with ISO 45001 standard.

In-circuit Test Engineer

• Develops and/or supports quality comprehensive test programs in HP3070 / Genrad in-circuit tester..
• Develops or modifies test models.
• Performs written analysis of fault grade.
• Develops quotes for test development and enhancements.
• ICT development concept and understating test ability analysis (DFT) analysis will be added advantages.
• Performs mechanical analysis of test fixtures.
• Coordinates 3rd part development of in-circuit programs, enhancements, and test fixtures.
• 100% responsible data to day manufacturing support and Test coverage improvements.
• Product Transfer / ICT fixture development proposal and coordination will be main advantages.
• Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply.

Here are some of our preferred skills:

• Typically requires a Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Electrical & Electronics or Telecommunications or equivalent experience or Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Science related in Electronics related.
• Typically requires 2 to 4 years of experience in test engineering in the high technology electronics industry or related area
• Preferably from manufacturing industry / field service/Technical support experience or semiconductor background related.
• Posses strong skill in Microsoft Office or any programming development background will be added advantages.
