About the Role

We are seeking a Lead QA Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is an experienced QA professional with

strong hands-on testing expertise in product development, and leadership skills

. You will collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and users to ensure a seamless product experience through continuous testing, improvement, and innovation. Open to Malaysian citizens and PR holders only.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage QA operations for assigned projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables. Act as the main point of contact between the QA team, partners, and clients. Identify suitable QA processes, techniques, and test coverage for each project. Design, plan, and prioritize test strategies and test cases based on requirements. Oversee test execution, defect reporting, and quality assessments. Drive process improvements and the adoption of best practices across the QA team. Mentor and guide QA and Junior QA Engineers in executing test activities. Troubleshoot and resolve project issues to minimize delivery delays. Provide constructive feedback to enhance team efficiency and product quality. Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Minimum 6 years of experiencein software testing, including:
Leading a QA team of at least 3 members. Performing functional, regression, sanity/smoke, and system testing. Developing test strategies, plans, and test cases. Managing defect tracking and test management tools. Strong testing experience in product development.

Excellent spoken and written English*.


Familiar with epics and user storiesin Agile environments.

Demonstrated ability to contribute ideasand continuous improvements -- not limited to testing outcomes.

Ability to work effectively in a multi-tasking, fast-paced environment*.

Strong analytical, decision-making, and interpersonal skills. Possess recognized testing certifications (CTFL / CPRE / CTAL / TMMi Professional).

Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD* methodologies is an advantage.
