JOB SUMMARY Senior debug technician and mid-range programmer. Responsible for the In-Circuit Test Engineering Process and the attributes that can affect the process. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES \xc2\xb7 Analyze daily process yield reports that will include, but not limited to the following: operator errors, defective product, test equipment/test defects, RMA product defects, and spear corrective actions. \xc2\xb7 Analyze downtime data of a station to set guidelines for preventative maintenance scheduling. \xc2\xb7 Display proficiency in fixture mechanics, including probe replacement, fixture hardware repair/replacement, and fixture operation. \xc2\xb7 Display proficiency in mid- to high-level software debugging, including digital, powered, shorts, pins, JX/OX, pins, testjet, and analog, as well as knowledge of boundary-scan basics. \xc2\xb7 Analyze and repair timely in order to meet department goals for minimal test downtime. \xc2\xb7 Provide solutions and training of high-level diagnostic issues to the diagnostic technicians I\xe2\x80\x99s. \xc2\xb7 Comprehend and analyze engineering tools including, but not limited to the following: schematics, BOMs, ECN/ECO, deviations, and fabmaster. \xc2\xb7 Implement low level engineering changes while maintaining test coverage. \xc2\xb7 Comprehend and apply various programming languages and editors, including but not limited to: HP-Unix, BT-Basic, vi, and emacs. \xc2\xb7 Prevent ICT test escapes. \xc2\xb7 Update and generate documentation as required. \xc2\xb7 Increase production yields in a real-time fashion by interpreting and analyzing data, then applying process fixes for most NDF-type failures to hit department goals, and/or driving manufacturing issues to the appropriate department for root cause and corrective action. \xc2\xb7 Maintain a continuous flow of the manufacturing line and meeting production goals while performing the assigned test duties. \xc2\xb7 Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor. \xc2\xb7 Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy. \xc2\xb7 May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. JOB QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS \xc2\xb7 Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. \xc2\xb7 Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. \xc2\xb7 Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. \xc2\xb7 Ability to perform operations using various numbering systems including: Hexadecimal, ASCII, and Binary. \xc2\xb7 Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. \xc2\xb7 Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. \xc2\xb7 Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. \xc2\xb7 Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. \xc2\xb7 Ability to operate a personal computer including using a Windows based operating system and related software. \xc2\xb7 Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil\xe2\x80\x99s software packages. \xc2\xb7 Ability to write simple correspondence. Read and understand visual aid. \xc2\xb7 Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. \xc2\xb7 Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables. \xc2\xb7 Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. \xc2\xb7 Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. \xc2\xb7 Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.
