Carrying out testing and commissioning of MV/HV systems, including switchgear, transformers, protection relays, control systems, and associated equipment.
Preparing detailed test procedures, checklists, and documentation in line with project and industry standards.
Executing functional and performance tests to verify compliance with technical specifications and operational requirements.
Identifying, analyzing, and resolving technical issues that arise during the commissioning process, coordinating with engineering and project teams.
Ensuring compliance with safety procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements throughout the commissioning activities.
Supporting site acceptance tests (SAT), reliability runs, and final handover to the client.
Preparing accurate commissioning reports and documentation, highlighting test results, non-conformances, and corrective actions.
Collaborating closely with design, engineering, and construction teams to ensure readiness for commissioning and smooth project execution.
What You Bring
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
Hands-on experience in testing and commissioning of MV and HV electrical systems,
including substations, transformers, switchgear, and protection systems.
Strong knowledge of electrical testing methodologies, standards (IEC/IEEE), and safety protocols.
Experience with secondary injection, primary injection, insulation resistance, contact resistance, relay testing, and circuit breaker testing.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
Problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues under pressure.
Willingness to work on-site across multiple project locations.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
