During the internship, the trainee will be exposed to various departments within the Theme Park to gain a comprehensive understanding of tourism and theme park management operations. The intern will rotate through key departments including
Operations
,
Sales & Marketing
, and
Finance
, and will also perform general administrative and data-related tasks as part of the learning process.
1. Operations Department:
Attach to the
Customer Service
team to observe and report the daily front-line operations, including guest assistance, ticket validation, and customer inquiries at the main entrance.
Attach to
Rides Attendants
to learn standard operating procedures, safety practices, and guest management during ride operations.
Attach to the
Food & Beverage (F&B)
outlets to observe service operations, inventory management, and guest interaction within the Theme Park's F&B environment.
Work alongside
Theme Park Executives
to understand daily reporting, briefings, incident documentation, and problem-solving processes.
Prepare a summary report upon completion of the rotation, highlighting key operational insights and learning outcomes.
2. Sales & Marketing Department:
Learn the fundamentals of
customer relationship management
and support initiatives to improve guest engagement and satisfaction.
Assist the marketing team in
identifying target markets
and potential partners to increase visitor numbers and event participation.
Participate in the
organization and execution of events
birthday parties, school excursions, graduation ceremonies, and promotional campaigns.
Contribute to the creation of
marketing content
, including written materials, photos, videos, and social media posts.
Support marketing and promotional activities, including direct mail, online campaigns, and in-park advertising.
Assist in administrative and coordination tasks related to event management and marketing operations.
3. Finance Department:
Observe and assist in
cashiering operations
at various points including ticketing counters, F&B kiosks, and the Kids Playground.
Learn the processes involved in
cash handling, reconciliation, and daily reporting
.
Gain exposure to the
Finance Department's
back-office operations, including data entry, voucher preparation, and documentation.
Assist in the preparation of
weekly or monthly financial summaries
and reports as assigned.
Understand the integration of finance procedures with operational and sales functions in a theme park environment.
