Job Description

-Design the press tools, according to the inputs. Participate in design review with cross functional team change the design according to the inputs from cross functional team and customer. Release the drawings and CAD data to the relevant functions after completion of design fulfill the IMS documentation requirements for every design project pattern inspection at vendor\'s place. Attend tool trials involvement in Kaizen for design quality & productivity improvement. -Making surface models for each stages as per the requirement in the die layout. -Simulate sheet metal parts on Forming Suit. -Interaction with the customers to understand their requirement and any concerns if any in the final product. -Coordinate internal reviews with the manufacturing and assembly departments to ensure design is optimal for manufacturability and future maintenance. -To maintain coordination between every department involve in the project to make them work as a team. -Review the FPIR (First Piece Inspection Report) of the produced product and evaluate design changes as necessary to bring any out of spec dimensions within the tolerance. -Presenting Design Department Performance/Schedule Weekly. -Performing design improvement recommendation, 3-D data and Product Drawing Development and its verification for tooling. -To prepare all the documentations according to customer requirements. -To complete the project file and ISO documentation account to requirement. -Projects and Team leading. -Designing different type of press tool, jigs, fixture & etc. -New product pilot lot on production line. -New tool development as per design data.
