• Minimum 5 years of working experience in metal stamping environments.
• Certificates in the fields of tool and die design or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks + 3D QuickPress, Catia, etc), FEA tools, and other relevant design and analysis software.
• Understanding of various metals and materials used in the stamping process and their properties.
• Precision in design and manufacturing to ensure high-quality, reliable tools and dies.
• Knowledgeable in Design for Manufacturability (DFM) to ensure that the tools and dies they create are not only functional but also optimized for efficient production.

Tanggungjawab

• Tool and Die Design, create detailed designs for tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures using CAD software. This includes progressive dies, transfer dies, and single station dies.
• Analyse blueprints, specifications, and models to develop accurate and functional tool designs.
• Choose appropriate materials for tools and dies based on the requirements of the stamping process and the properties of the metals being stamped.
• Maintain detailed documentation of tool designs, revisions, maintenance activities, and production outcomes.
• Cross-functional teamwork involves collaboration or coordination with tool and die makers, engineers, and quality assurance or sales teams to ensure that the tooling meets customer requirements and quality standards.
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to procure the necessary materials and components for tool and die manufacturing.
• Participate in cross functional project teams designed to analyse and improve stamping processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure consistent quality.
• Troubleshoot problems with tool and die performance by making changes or redesigning components as required.
• Develop prototypes of tools and dies to test their functionality and make necessary adjustments before full-scale production.
• Observe the tool fabrication process closely and make real-time adjustments.
