JOB SUMMARY:

Assist and implement the necessary planning and maintenance of all tools and equipment. Ensure mould are available when needed.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Direct and supervise the daily activities of subordinates in the manufacture of mould parts.
• Coordinate with Planner to resolve operational issues.
• Do a test on the mould.
• Making and changing the necessary mould parts according to mould specifications.
• Application of EDM, lathes, milling, drilling, grinding and polishing machines.
• Develop and maintain a preventive maintenance program continuously for all Mold processing or machine tool processing.
• Provide technical training to improve the efficiency of subordinates.
• Ensure scheduled waste and non-scheduled waste (recycled waste and domestic waste) are properly handled, controlled, stored, disposed of to ensure compliance with the law and prevent environmental pollution. Please refer to SW Codes and Pictures.
• Ensure that the use of chemicals is controlled and prevent the use of hazardous chemicals in accordance with environmental laws. Also, understand chemical labels so that safety, health and use of personal protective equipment is followed correctly.

Side Tasks

• Making wiring on equipment and moulds.
• Ensure attendance and monitor employee discipline.
• Cleanliness of machine area and environment.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• The ability to set up and check work with precision tools and measuring instruments.
• Skills and capabilities to process, repair, and replace moulds and machine parts.
• A clear understanding of the mold design and ability to modify the mold design.
• Have a certain understanding of the finished product injection.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate in SKM level 3 from IKBN or ILP, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma/ Degree in (Mechanical/ Tool & Die or Industrial Engineer) or equivalent.
• At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in mould manufacturing & modification.
