Job Details: Designation: Tooling Technician Working duration: 12 months contract with PERSOLKELLY (can be renewable) Salary range: RM2500 with shift allowance + productivity allowance + quarterly incentive + statutory contribution + leave entitlement + insurance & medical coverage (based on skills and experiences) Working Location: Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport, Complex A, Mas Engineering, 47200 Subang, Selangor Working Hours/Day: 2 shift rotation [0700 - 1445/ 1500 - 2300/ As per client discretion] Essential Responsibilities: . Perform daily monitoring, preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing and utility equipment/systems. . Plan, estimate, sequence, and perform any task required to program, fabricate, assemble, maintain, inspect, and repair any and all types of tools. . Use processes such as cutting, grinding, spotting, painting, hand finish, shaping, bending, drilling, reaming, tapping, wiring, plumbing, lay-up, minor welding, inspection, set-up, operate all types of fabrication and measurement equipment and machine tools required to fabricate tools. . Use and/or interpret tool and engineering drawings and models, sketches, templates, tool design manuals, verbal information, master tools, production parts, digital data and various handbooks in accomplishing and communicating work requirements . Support production activities at all times by ensuring minimum response times to tools breakdowns. . Assisting the Production in unloading and loading engine as required and general forklift duties . Ensure all the work done comply to local regulatory, corporate safety and industrial standards. . Able to provide simple report on breakdown history and ensure action follow up to prevent recurrence of tool breakdowns. . Support the Tooling Coordinator in the identification and procurement of parts required for maintenance and repair. . Keep track of spare part and inventory usage to maintain spare part/inventory control. . Assist Engineers in carrying out engineering evaluations/experiments/ troubleshooting. . Provide feedback and give suggestions to improve tools/equipment stability and performance. . Participate and contribute actively in continuous improvement activities. . Ensure that maintenance and repair cover for production areas is provided at all times by demonstrating flexibility regarding working overtime to provide cover for holidays, sick leave, shutdown periods, busy periods and as required. . Assist new colleagues on their On-the-Job-Training (OJT) by acting as their buddy. . Maintain good housekeeping and safety practices in the production and working areas. . Respond to emergency calls for any troubleshooting required at site. . Perform other responsibilities as assigned by superior or Management from time to time. Qualification: Minimum SKM3 / Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years\' experience working as a tooling technician or skilled trade within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Valid fork-lifting & tow truck certificate & driving license Knowledge of basic CNC programming a plus Ability and willingness to work off/varied shift/weekends, as required. Basic knowledge in Microsoft word & excel applications.
