JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for scheduling, managing inventory, and ensuring the tool room runs efficiently by collaborating with other departments, maintaining records, and overseeing tool maintenance and calibration.

JOB RESPONSIBLITIES

Maintenance planning: Plan and execute tool resource in maintenance schedule demand during shutdown accordingly. Inventory and supply chain: Manage tool inventory levels, track tool usage and life cycles, and coordinate with relevant department based on demand. Maintenance and calibration: Ensure all tools are calibrated and maintained according to specifications and that tool room equipment is functioning correctly. Collaboration: Work closely with maintenance planning and execution teams to understand tool requirements. Record keeping: Maintain accurate records of tool issuance, returns, and maintenance history.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Diploma or Degree in background in tool making or any engineering, with experience in a tool room environment. Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., CAD, ERP/MRP systems). Knowledge of industry-specific tools and equipment, proven experience in tool management or a similar role. Working normal hours 5 days/week and being able to work overtime or in 12 hours shift when required.

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
