We are now hiring

Mandarin-speaking Travel Concierges and Lead Travel Concierges

for our

European River Cruise routes

, delivering premium Chinese-language concierge services for shore excursions and guest experiences.

Responsibilities:

Provide concierge services for

Chinese guests

during European river itineraries, ensuring high-quality service aligned with Viking's hospitality standards. Be familiar with Chinese-version excursion materials (introductions, itineraries, FAQs) and assist guests with inquiries and registration. Record passenger preferences and feedback, and collaborate with other departments (housekeeping, restaurant, operations) to ensure smooth service flow.

Lead Travel Concierge:

Supervise and schedule the Travel Concierge team, provide training on European destinations, service etiquette, and crisis handling. Review and maintain Chinese-version excursion documents (e.g., attraction notes, travel guidelines) to ensure consistency and accuracy. Handle complex itinerary needs (special group coordination, customized tours), liaise with local partners, and resolve emergencies quickly.

Travel Concierge (Tour Guide):

Introduce European shore excursion options to passengers in

Chinese

, and assist with booking, confirmation, and information verification. Prepare daily excursion reminders in Chinese (gathering time, attire notes, etc.), and assist in maintaining order during group tours. Collect and summarize passenger feedback to improve excursion arrangements and service experiences.

Requirements

Fluent in Mandarin

(for daily guest service and internal communication). Able to read and prepare Chinese-language documents related to excursions and service standards.

Experience:

Lead Travel Concierge:

Minimum

2 years' experience

in tourism/hospitality concierge management (e.g., travel agency supervisor, itinerary planning manager). Familiarity with European destinations is preferred.

Travel Concierge:

Minimum

2 years' experience

in travel services, guest relations, or hotel concierge roles.

Personal Qualities:

Lead Travel Concierge:

Leadership, organization, and emergency response ability; patient and culturally sensitive.

Travel Concierge:

Clear communication, proactive service attitude, understanding of European attractions and culture, and strong teamwork spirit.

Appearance Requirement:

No visible tattoos while wearing the company uniform.
