Lead, supervise, and manage the daily operations of the Body & Paint Department staff.
Establish departmental objectives and set performance targets in line with company strategy.
Plan, oversee, and monitor the department's annual operating budget to ensure cost efficiency.
Design and implement marketing strategies to strengthen brand presence and drive business growth.
Track technicians' productivity, review reports, and ensure accurate payroll documentation.
Build strong relationships with insurance adjusters to facilitate smooth claims and repair processes.
Provide accurate cost estimates and timelines for bodywork, ensuring transparency with customers and internal teams.
Collaborate with the Parts Department to secure timely availability of required parts and materials.
Supervise repair work progress to ensure compliance with Proton's SOPs and safety standards.
Conduct quality control checks and random spot inspections on completed repairs to uphold service excellence and minimize repeat jobs.
Requirements
2-5 years of proven experience leading teams in a workshop or service department environment.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability.
Results-driven, self-motivated, and committed to achieving performance targets.
Strong decision-making skills with the ability to act independently and effectively.
Balanced in handling customers with both assertiveness and empathy.
Able to work independently, in teams, and under pressure.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and coordination abilities.
Willing to be based in
Teluk Panglima Garang.
