Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement
trade marketing and purchasing strategies
aligned with company goals.
Lead and manage the purchasing team
in preparing monthly stock plans with suppliers in
Indonesia, China, Japan, and Korea
.
Oversee
inventory management
, ensuring timely orders and optimal stock levels.
Use
data analytics
to forecast sales trends and improve stock planning accuracy.
Conduct
market and category analysis
to identify trends, distribution gaps, and growth opportunities.
Manage
planograms (Nielsen Spaceman)
and category planning based on sales and category data.
Develop and execute
merchandising guidelines and POSMs
to enhance retail visibility and brand alignment.
Support
in-store promotions and campaigns
, ensuring effective execution across channels.
Monitor and analyze sales data
and trade campaign results to identify improvement areas.
Provide
training materials and sessions
for internal and distributor sales teams.
Act as a
bridge between marketing and sales
, aligning stock and trade initiatives with brand campaigns.
Collaborate with
finance, logistics, suppliers, and service providers
for smooth operations.
Manage
trade marketing budgets
and ensure effective use of investments.
Identify
cost-saving opportunities
and negotiate competitive supplier pricing.
Lead, coach, and develop
the Trade Marketing and Purchasing teams to achieve business objectives
Key Requirements
Bachelor's/Professional Degree preferably within the area of Business Management, Administration, or related.
Minimum of
5 years of Trade Marketing experience in beauty and cosmetics FMCG companies, with at least 3 years at managerial level.
Required languages: English & Bahasa Malaysia. Knowledge of other languages is advantageous.
Proficiency in computer skills, MS Office, Excel, etc.
A team player with a pleasant personality and strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to build good working relationships with internal and external parties.
Ability to thrive in a team environment while also having the ability to work independently.
Self-starter, highly organized, and able to prioritize multiple tasks in a challenging and fast-paced working environment.
Creativity and commercial awareness, especially in the beauty, cosmetics, and personal care industries.
