Position overview

Are you looking for an opportunity to learn how to identify and apply important strategies and business processes in the world\xe2\x80\x99s leading industrial coating resins company? allnex is inviting you to join our 18-month trainee program with the opportunity to get to know allnex while receiving on-the-job training at Seremban, Malaysia. With this great opportunity at allnex, you will work on exciting engineering projects and gain experience abroad to prepare you to take on a permanent position in the engineering field after completing the program.

Responsibilities
-You will gain a comprehensive insight into the chemical industry and work with us to design and implement our digital roadmap in a production environment.
-Using your innovative and creative mindset, you will help shape our digital endeavors in manufacturing locally and globally.
-You will work independently on diverse projects and key challenges in the broad field of digitization (e.g. analytics based decision making, AI, optimization/operational excellence, data analysis, industry 4.0).
-You will be supported on your learning journey by a mentor and you will be closely connected with colleagues and stakeholders from different functions, locations and cultures.
-This role is based in Seremban, Malaysia project assignments with stays at allnex locations in other countries will be part of your training.
-After completing the program, you will be perfectly prepared to take up an exciting position at one of our allnex locations.

Required skills and experience
-Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English and local language.
-A real team player with very good communication skills.
-A digital and entrepreneurial mindset combined with a hands-on mentality and passion to optimize processes.
-Dynamic, innovative and results driven personality.
-Outspoken and entrepreneurial way of working.
-Analytical thinking, strong problem solving skills and high sense of responsibility.
-Eager to learn.

Qualifications
-Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in chemical engineering or process engineering with focus on digitalization.
