About the Role
We are looking for a highly capable
Transformation Architect
to drive strategic technology initiatives, operational excellence, and enterprise-wide transformation. This role blends strategy, project execution, change management, and innovation to ensure technology continuously aligns with business goals and delivers measurable value.
You will act as the embedded project manager for major initiatives such as Core Banking transformation, key application modernisation, and Cloud delivery. The position requires strong strategic thinking, process optimisation expertise, and the ability to operate across business, operations, and technology teams.
Key Responsibilities1. Strategic Planning
Analyse industry trends and emerging technologies to support strategic decision-making.
Ensure continuous alignment between business objectives and technology direction.
Establish structured collaboration platforms with business stakeholders to maintain alignment.
Develop clear presentation materials to communicate complex strategies to senior leadership.
2. Innovation & Process Design
Lead internal process improvement, simplification, and automation initiatives.
Develop and implement change management strategies supporting new processes and technologies.
Identify potential resistance to change and implement mitigation actions.
Design and deliver training programs to drive change adoption.
Communicate effectively across all organisational levels.
Measure and evaluate the success of transformation and change initiatives.
3. Project Management & Delivery Execution
As an embedded project manager for strategic initiatives (Core Banking, key applications, Cloud projects), responsibilities include:
Execution Ownership
Own, drive and deliver the end-to-end execution roadmap and master project schedule.
Ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with quality expectations.
Governance & Reporting
Establish project-level governance structures.
Maintain RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies).
Provide transparent reporting to the Transformation Office / PMO.
Dependency Management
Identify, track, and resolve complex cross-functional dependencies across business, IT teams and vendors.
Safeguard critical transformation timelines and mitigate delivery risks.
Programme Reporting & Tools
Manage reporting through PowerPoint, Word, MS Project, Power BI, Jira and other governance tools.
Financial Oversight
Develop project budgets, track actuals vs. forecasts, and support TCO projections.
4. Analytical & Business Case Development
Conduct financial and cost-benefit analyses for high-value, enterprise-level initiatives.
Build compelling business cases that justify investments and strategic decisions.
Craft clear, engaging, and impactful messages to communicate project value, strategy and outcomes to leadership.

Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience in digital transformation, enterprise technology projects or strategic delivery roles.
Proven experience in project management, PMO functions, or programme oversight.
Skilled in managing multiple complex initiatives involving cross-functional stakeholders.
Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Experience in change management, training development, and process re-engineering.
Proficiency in project & reporting tools: PowerPoint, MS Project, Word, Power BI, Jira.
Ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders across business and technology teams.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation capabilities.
Strong financial analysis and business case development skills.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Engineering or related fields.
Certifications in Agile, Scrum, PMP, Change Management or Digital Transformation are advantageous.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM40,000.00 per month
