Translator (japanese Speaking)
Job Description
Translate documents, specifications, presentations, feedback, reports, and emails between Japanese and English.
Provide consecutive or simultaneous interpretation during meetings and discussions between Japanese expatriates/clients and local staff.
Support Japanese expatriates with real-time interpretation during daily interactions.
Assist in recruitment activities, including interpreting during candidate interviews.
Maintain a high standard of translation and interpretation quality while adhering to deadlines.
Ensure translated or interpreted content accurately reflects the original message and tone.
Proofread translations to ensure correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure the effectiveness and clarity of communication.
Job Requirements
Minimum 4-6 years of experience as a Japanese interpreter/translator in any industry. Candidates who are native or fluent Japanese speakers with working experience in a Japanese business environment are also encouraged to apply. Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in any field. Japanese proficiency equivalent to JLPT N1. English proficiency equivalent to CEFR C1 or above. Strong interpretation skills and proven experience in verbal communication. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong proofreading and content editing abilities. Familiarity with translation software is an advantage. Interest or experience in the gaming industry is a plus. Experience in project coordination or management is an added benefit.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
