This role involves translating and adapting our landing page, emails, infographics, and advertisements to ensure cultural relevance and accuracy.Note: Even if you speak only one of the needed languages, thats fine. We can work with more than one person in that case.Job Title: Translator (Spanish and/or Portuguese)Work Experience: Worked in relevant industry for a min. of 2 yearsPosition: Contract (12 Months)Reporting to: Chief of Staff (Special Projects)

• Translation and Localization: Translate and localize digital content from English to Spanish and Portuguese, ensuring that the translations are culturally appropriate for Mexican and Brazilian audiences.
• Quality Assurance: Review and edit final translated versions to ensure accuracy and consistency with the original tone and context.
• Collaboration: Work closely with our marketing and design teams to ensure that the translated content aligns with visual and brand guidelines.
• Feedback and Adaptation: Provide feedback on any content that may require cultural adaptation for the target markets.
• Timely Delivery: Ensure that all translations are completed within the specified deadlines.

Skills required

• Proven Experience: In translating and localizing content, particularly for digital platforms.
• Language Proficiency: Native or near-native proficiency in Spanish (Mexico) and Portuguese (Brazil). Fluency in English is required.
• Cultural Awareness: Strong understanding of Mexico and Brazil's cultural nuances and consumer behavior.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain high-quality standards even under tight deadlines.

• Translate articles from the source language to the target language while preserving the original meaning, tone, and intent.
• Ensure cultural relevance and sensitivity in translated content.
• Maintain consistency in terminology and style across translated articles.

Infographics x 5 - Infographics are powerpoint presentations
Promotional Emails: x 15

• Translate promotional emails to the target language, focusing on clarity and persuasiveness.
• Adapt content to resonate with the cultural nuances and preferences of the target audience.
• Ensure that translated emails maintain the intended impact and call-to-action.

Promotional Banners on Social Media: x 25

• Translate promotional banners for social media platforms, considering character limitations and visual aesthetics. Very few words.
• Capture the essence of the promotional message and adapt it to suit the cultural context.
• Coordinate with design teams to ensure translated text fits seamlessly within the visual layout.

Web Pages as per microsite requirement:

• Translate web page content, including product descriptions, landing pages, and other relevant information.
• Maintain a consistent brand voice and messaging across all translated web pages.

Review AI-Generated Voice Overs for Videos: 6

• Review AI-generated voiceovers for webinars/videos to ensure accuracy and clarity.
• Adjust the tone and pace of the voiceover to match the intended emotional impact.
• Confirm that the translated voiceover aligns with the visuals and maintains synchronisation.

Review Text Captions in Videos: 6

• Verify text captions running in videos, ensuring they are in harmony with the spoken content.
• Coordinate with video production teams to maintain proper timing and visual appeal.
• Verify that translated captions are error-free and convey the intended message accurately.
