Coordinating the movement of goods.
Managing driver schedules.
Ensuring all logistics operations are cost-efficient and compliant with regulations.
Monitor live transport operations, track delivery progress (often using GPS or TMS), and respond proactively to any service issues, delays, or discrepancies during delivery.
Handle all transport-related documentation, including load plans, delivery orders (DOs), and proof of deliveries (PODs), ensuring accuracy and compliance with customs and customer requirements.
Working closely with warehouse and customer service teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
Requirements:
A Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is typically required.
1-3 years of experience in route planning, transport scheduling, or logistics coordination, preferably within the logistics or haulage sectors.
Proficiency in Transport Management Systems (TMS), GPS tracking tools, and standard computer software (e.g., Microsoft Office) is essential.
