About The Job
Responsible to manage the cashflow, foreign exchange exposure and banking relationship for the company. Propose and implement system enhancement to promote treasury excellence and efficiency.
This is a country and regional role.
Management Responsibility - Manage the daily operation of treasury front and back office covering cash management, foreign exchange and bank administration scope.
Cash Management - Oversea fund allocation for payment campaign, ensure maximum yield on idle cash, review weekly and monthly reporting on cash position, review and consolidate quarterly long-term cash forecast for APAC & ensure healthy working capital requirements for each entity.
Foreign Exchange Management - Enforce Group hedging policy by ensuring forex risks are identified, quantified and hedged. Ensure hedge accounting policies are adhered to.
Banking relationship - manage bank facilities (cash management & fx limits) to ensure pricing, terms and condition are aligned to Group policies and guidelines. Continuous engagement with banks to explore and implement banking solutions that enhances security, efficiency and return on investment of company funds.
Internal relationship - liaise with regional treasurers on reporting and related cash and fx topics, work with projects & cost controllers on fx and working capital topics, formulate treasury solutions to meet specific project requirements.
Bank administration - regular review and update of bank signatories, review bank documentation and terms & conditions, ensure online banking structure meets operation requirements.
External relationship - liaise with auditors.
Regulatory compliance - familiarization and update on foreign exchange regulations and policies for APAC countries. Liaise with Bank Negara Malaysia (\xe2\x80\x9cBNM\xe2\x80\x9d) - including sending ad-hoc application and meetings on FXAdmin matters.
Transformation & Integration projects - APAC lead on treasury system implementation, upgrade and training needs.
