Job Description

This role is responsible for managing the Group's corporate loans, property financing structures, and credit exposure -- ensuring all funding activities are well-structured, compliant, and aligned with the Group's long-term financial strategy.

You will work closely with banks, legal advisors, and internal project teams to optimise financing terms, monitor loan covenants, and maintain healthy cash flow across group entities.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the Group's full portfolio of loan facilities -- including term loans, bridging loans, overdrafts, revolving credits, and bonds/sukuk. Track loan drawdowns, repayments, interest computations, and facility renewals. Monitor and report on loan covenants (e.g. gearing, DSCR, interest coverage) to ensure compliance with banking terms. Support project-based financing activities, including developer loans and end-financing tie-ups with bankers. Coordinate with solicitors, valuers, and trustees for loan documentation, charge creation, and perfection of securities. Prepare internal funding analyses, cash flow projections, and cost-of-funding comparisons (fixed vs floating rate). Manage intercompany funding schedules and monitor liquidity positions for timely repayment. Build and maintain strong working relationships with relationship managers and financial institutions. Assist in the preparation of new financing proposals, refinancing structures, and Lombard facility applications. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all bank facilities and loan-related documentation.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking, or a related discipline. 5-10 years of experience in

corporate treasury, loan management, or corporate finance

, ideally within property development or an investment holding environment. Familiar with multi-bank facilities and portfolio sizes above RM50 million. Solid understanding of loan documentation, credit risk assessment, and covenant monitoring. Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills. High integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
