Job Description

We are seeking a skilled

UAT Tester

with a strong background in the insurance or financial services industry. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in Cantonese and English, with a minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT). You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our systems meet business requirements and are ready for production.

Key Responsibilities

Requirement Understanding

: Review business requirements and functional specifications to ensure clarity and completeness for testing.

Test Planning

: Develop UAT test plans, scenarios, and cases based on user requirements and business processes.

Test Execution

: Perform UAT testing to validate that the system meets business needs and is ready for production.

Defect Reporting

: Identify, document, and report bugs or issues found during testing, and track them to resolution.

Collaboration

: Work closely with business users, QA teams, and developers to ensure alignment and clarity on test objectives.

Environment Setup

: Ensure the UAT environment is properly configured and that data is available for testing.

Feedback Collection

: Gather feedback from end-users and stakeholders during testing to improve system usability and functionality.

Sign-off Preparation

: Assist in preparing UAT sign-off documentation and obtain formal approval from business stakeholders.

Risk Identification

: Highlight potential risks or gaps in the system that could impact business operations post-deployment.

Continuous Improvement

: Provide suggestions for improving testing processes and contribute to lessons learned for future projects.

Requirements

Minimum 4 to 6 years of experience in UAT testing. Bilingual proficiency in Cantonese and English. Strong knowledge of the insurance or financial services industry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with UAT tools and methodologies.
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM11,500.00 - RM16,500.00 per month
