Job Summary

Responsible in ensuring the Branch Underwriting activities support the business strategy to grow and retain business, focus is to deliver sustainable profits, underwriting standards and processes are aligned with the company workflow. Walk the Talk with the Sales team and intermediaries to secure and attack business

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales team including intermediaries to secure and attack new and renewal business.
• To underwrite, review and evaluate risk independently and understand the company\'s product guideline. Ability to identify and recommend the appropriate risk mitigation or prevention measures to minimize risk exposure.
• Renewal Management. Review renewal business taking into consideration the customer claims experience to ensure the appropriate policy terms & conditions are invited.
• Non-standard risks which require HQ approval, to provide comprehensive and statistical underwriting information,
• Support processing/ underwriting hub on enquiries on policy issuance/ endorsement and resolving issues related to operations and system by liaising with relevant parties in Head Office
• Provide support to Customer Service, intermediaries enquiries on policy, claims or ISM-NCD related matter from external parties like AAN or other insurers.

Requirements

• Candidate possess a Diploma/Degree
• Meticulous and good analytical skills
• Good time management skills
