We\'re searching for a Uniform and Linen Supervisor to work alongside our Housekeeping Manager to ensure all aspects of housekeeping and laundry are befitting of our reputation for delivering genuinely memorable experiences to our guests.Every day is different, but you\'ll mostly be:Sorting laundry by colour, material, and level of soilingInspecting all laundry and linen for damage or stains - keeping a record of any items that don\'t make the gradeOperating washers and dryers to their recommended capacity and manufacturer guidelinesAdding the correct chemicals in the right quantities for each wash cycleFolding and storing clean linen - operating the linen feeder, sheet folder, towel folder and table linen ironing machinesWhat we need from youFor you to be the ideal candidate, you should have the following:It\'s a physical role and you\'ll be on your feet most of the day, so fitness is importantCarrying or lifting items weighing up to 75 pounds and pushing and/or pulling approximately 400 poundsYou may need to bend, stoop, and kneel to complete some activitiesFrequently working in areas of high temperatures around heavy equipmentReading and writing abilities and basic math skills are utilized when determining amounts of chemicals to treat laundry and stains and logging appropriate poundage.Outstanding organizational and time management skillsWhat we offerIn return we\'ll give you a competitive benefit package including, hotel discounts worldwide and the opportunity to progress your career with IHG\xc2\xae.
