Job Responsibilities:
• To assist in operating, maintaining and upkeep manikin, laboratory equipment and instruments, facilities and work place accordingly to established procedures;
• Assist in preparing equipment scheduled for use in practical sessions and demonstrate care and use of equipment to students when needed;
• Assist in setting up manikin and equipment used in Clinical Skills Training sessions, maintain and keep those inventories in a clean condition;
• Prepares manikin, equipment and simulation patient for simulation ward practical;
• Assists Clinical Instructor to guide students in the performance of their Clinical Skills Training session;
• Help in identifying, evaluates and resolves technical problems related to manikin and/or equipment;
• Liaise with academic staff to discuss schedules and timetables, equipment and disposables requirements, and work plans;
• Perform cleaning, maintenance and calibration on related equipment and instrument and disposes biohazard waste in accordance with the standard waste management plans which have been set by the department;
• Assist Laboratory executives in duties related to laboratory and to assist in resolving any related issues; and
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
