1. Develop, review, update, prepare and implement high-quality lesson plans, tutorials, assignments and class discussions in compliance with the syllabus and curriculum and to reflect current practices.
2.Conduct and deliver quality lectures, tutorials, discussions, workshops, consultancy and other means of learning facilitation professionally and effectively to students.
3.Contribute to the development of the new academic programme and provide ideas, suggestions, proposals, and recommendations to further improve the overall operations, management and profitability of the faculty and the university.
4.Supervise undergraduate’s students and responsible for students’ academic progress.
5.Consistently monitor and provide feedback to students on their performance and provide academic counseling to students.
6.Involve in the general academic administration of the faculty.
7.Participate in research and publications in related field.
8.Supervise students in research projects.
9.Involve in the development and marking of examination papers and other assessments accordingly to the course learning outcomes, invigilate examinations and evaluate students’ performance.
10.Participate in MQA audit process and assist by implementing correlative actions for continuous improvement of the curriculum.
11.Participate in community engagement projects towards increasing the SETARA rating of the university.
12.To continuously assist on the improvement and the development of the faculty and to be involved in other areas of activities assigned by the dean from time to time; and
Involve in events and activities organised at the faculty and university level.
Requirements:
-Candidate must possess MBBS Degree with Master’s Degree (based on specialisation) or Doctorate (Ph.D.) in:
Pediatrics
Surgery
Pathology
Internal Medicine
Family Medicine
-Have at least 3 years of teaching experience in related field
-Good proficiency in the English Language
-Have excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
-Able to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment as well as independently; and
-Able to communicate effectively and work synchronously and harmoniously with the management and other associates within the University.
