:
• To develop a Teaching English as a Second Language Programme outline for MQA submission;
• Develop, review, update, prepare and implement high quality of lesson plans, tutorials, assignments and class discussion in compliance with the syllabus and curriculum;
• To review and assist with the planning and coordination of programs, to ensure all lesson plans, schemes of work, syllabus are being updated from time to time;
• Conduct and deliver quality lectures, tutorials, discussions, workshops, consultancy and other means of learning facilitation professionally and effectively to students;
• Monitor implementation of program policies and practices;
• To coordinate programmes (timetabling) within the faculty and work towards keep all programs on schedule, running and functioning smoothly;
• To assist in the communication and administrative matters in accordance with the policies and regulatory requirements of the university and regulatory requirements by ruling authorities such as Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE) and the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA);
• Contribute to the development of new academic programme and to provide ideas, suggestion, proposals, and recommendation to further improve the overall operations, management and profitability of the faculty and the university;
• Oversee program budgets, including tracking billing, payments and other financial transactions;
• Maintain records, reports, presentations and proposals;
• Involve in the development and marking of examination papers and other assessments accordingly to the course learning outcomes, invigilate examinations and evaluate students’ performance;
• Supervise undergraduate’s student and responsible for students’ academic progress;
• Consistently monitor and provide feedbacks to students on their performance and to provide academic counselling to students;
• To assist in promotional and/or marketing activities and events of the University as and when required;
• Work with administrator(s) to support and coordinate on program communications; and
• To continuously assist on the improvement and the development of the faculty and to be involved in other areas of activities assigned by the dean from time to time.
