Open Position: Unix/Linux IT Security Specialist (Tech-based Company)
A Tech-based Company is currently hiring for Unix/Linux IT Security Specialist to join the team and be based in the Kuala Lumpur office.
Key requirements include:
- Must have at least 5 years in Linux administration with experience in IT Security
- Well verse in Operating System administration with virtualization and cloud technologies in Linux environment, such as RHEL, Ubuntu, Docker, Virtual Box and etc
- Excellent skill in software, hardware, and OS configuration, installation, log analysis, patching, problem resolution and troubleshooting.
- Must have scripting skills such as Python SQL and Bash and knowledge with Openstack is an added advantage. Familiar with SOAP or REST API.
- Good Knowledge in continuous integration, Jenkins, DevOps and Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies.
- Good database administration experience in MariaDB, PostgreSQL, SQL or Oracle
- A team player and enjoy working in a fast-paced Technology centrix environment
