Responsibilities

Design plans using computer-aided design and drafting (CAD) software to translate design information and specifications from engineers into schematics, technical drawings.
Draft and prepare layout drawings of the given structures, components and devices.
Preparing the CAD content for technical drawings and documents as prescribed by the Design Engineer or Senior Engineer in accordance with relevant standards and specifications.
Analyze design documents and plans to verify dimensions and materials and coordinate with engineers to resolve any errors.
Coordinate directly with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements, verify design details and recommend modifications as needed according to company standards and best practices.
Must work well as part of project team and be conscious of the need to meet the deadlines
