Job Description

  • Ability to learn, take direction, and work collaboratively with the head chef
  • Ability to work efficiently and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
  • Strong understanding of food safety regulations and standards
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality and consistency in food
  • Wiling to work on weekends and public holidays
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Salary range based on working experience, skills, and management final decision.
Responsibilities
  • Junior chef for food catering services and preferable to be experienced in food handling and mass production
  • Assist the Head Chef in preparing and cooking meals according to specific recipes
  • Ensure a clean, safe and sanitary environment in the kitchen and follow food safety guidelines at all times
  • Assist with purchasing and receiving deliveries of food and supplies
  • Assist monthly inventory counts and record food wastage
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Head Chef
