As a Reservoir / Production Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating reservoir data, identifying near term opportunities, providing reservoir management support to optimize production. This position is ideal for an early-career professional looking to expand their knowledge and skills in reservoir engineering and will be based in Menara ExxonMobil, KLWhat you will doIf successful, you will be either hired as a Reservoir Surveillance Engineer or Production Engineer within the organization.Key deliverables include:-Monitoring production / injection performance for assigned reservoirs to ensure compliance with Reservoir Management Plan (RMP) and identify production optimization / capacity enhancement opportunities.
-Develop, execute, and steward reservoir surveillance plans, e.g., well tests, pressure surveys, production logs.
-QA/QC well test results and operational data captured in Energy Components (EC) or Oil Field Manager (OFM)
-Lead comprehensive wellbore utility reviews (WBUR) for all assigned fields. Ensure participation by Operations and all key technical disciplines, and integrate WBUR outcomes into reservoir surveillance plans, reservoir management plans, and Asset Level Business Plans (ALBP)
-Leverage EMEPMI G&G/Reservoir/Subsurface Engineering teams for higher complexity wellwork, reservoir studies, and opportunity generation/execution
-Conduct annual reserve assessment for internal and external reporting to ensure internal company and external ARPR booked reserves are kept with high quality through integration of performance analysis and models forecast.
-Recommend technical tools required to increase technical certainty of the planned work programs / projects, e.g., analytical assessment, material balance.
-Leverage field performance coupled with the models above to develop flowstream forecast and reserve estimates needed to complement cost estimates required for economic analysis.
-Review the technical and economic proposals on work programs / projects to ExxonMobil Management for funding decisions.
-Leverage technical work to ensure Reservoir Management Plan is updated and followed.
-Jointly work with Asset:
- o to aid technical justification for Reservoir Surveillance Plan (e.g., well tests, contact logging, pressure surveys
-Participate and actively contribute to all internal and external reviews related to reservoir surveillance or production.
-Identify capacity enhancement opportunities, e.g., GLV change out, add perf stimulation.About youSkills and Qualifications
To be eligible for this role, you must:-Have a minimum in bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree and/or hold other relevant industry experience; preferably a degree in Petroleum Engineering
