We are expanding our wells organization and looking for engineers who enjoy working in dynamic, collaborative and diverse global teams to provide support to ExxonMobil across our broad range of well operations in drilling, completion, workover and P&A operation.

Currently, we have an opportunity for an experienced Well Engineer to join our team. The role is based in Menara ExxonMobil, Kuala Lumpur.

What you will do

• Support rig units (Hydraulic Workover Unit, Tender Assisted Drilling Rig and Jackup) for well construction activity for drilling, completion, workover and abandonment
• Support functionally in assessing risks associated with wells and rig operation
• Provide business line input on contractual matters (including pre and post contract execution)

About you

Skills and Qualifications

• Engineering degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in drilling and completions engineering role
• Willing and able to travel to offshore locations to provide wellsite support.
