Job Responsibility Negotiation with supplier on new product listing, pricing and costing, sales promotion and trading term. Issuing purchase order and coordination of all the details required to carry out the order successfully. Reviewing merchandising performance on a regular basis to actively re-act to market situation always providing sufficient stocks available in outlet for sales maximization. Daily operational issues which includes sales promotion activities, merchandise compliances and internal memo circulation. Sales report preparation. Any Ad-hoc task assigned by Superior from time to time. Job Requirements Bachelor s degree in business administration, Retail Management, or a related field is often preferred. 2 to 5 years of experience in Category Management within the Dry Merchandising sector of the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry is required. Attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication and presentation skills; Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment. Good command of spoken and written English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.
